EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a way of working with past experiences that still feel like they’re running the show—even when you know better, even when time has passed. It’s about helping your nervous system actually digest what happened, so it doesn’t keep taking over the present. We go at your pace and you don’t have to “tell the whole story” unless that feels right. Instead, we let your brain and body do some of the processing work they were built to do—but maybe didn’t get to at the time.

  • Trauma and PTSD

  • Childhood neglect or attachment wounds

  • Anxiety, panic, and chronic worry

  • Phobias or intense fears that feel stuck

  • Grief and loss that feels unresolved

  • Medical trauma

  • Performance anxiety

  • Social anxiety and shame-based self-talk

  • Feeling “frozen,” shut down, or stuck in loops

  • Distressing memories that still feel sharp or vivid

  • Sexual trauma or boundary violations

  • Sudden or overwhelming life events (e.g., accidents, assaults, breakups, miscarriages)

  • Low self-worth or persistent inner criticism

  • Body-based distress connected to past experiences

Flash Technique

Flash Technique is a gentle, body-aware approach used to reduce the intensity of painful memories—without needing to talk through or directly re-live them. It’s often used as a preparation tool before EMDR, but it can also stand on its own. What makes Flash different is that we keep your attention on something neutral or even pleasant, while the deeper processing happens in the background. You don’t have to go into the hard stuff in detail for it to shift. It can feel surprisingly light, and yet people often notice that what once felt overwhelming now feels more distant, less charged, or easier to approach. Flash Technique can treat many of the same concerns and challenges as EMDR. This form of therapy can even be joyful, funny, surprising, or combined with walk and talk therapy.

Cash Pay — Good Faith Estimate (GFE)

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance, or who are not using insurance, an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.

  • You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency items or services. This includes related costs like medical tests, prescription drugs, equipment, and hospital fees.

  • Make sure your health care provider gives you a Good Faith Estimate in writing at least 1 business day before your medical service or item. You can also ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule an item or service.

  • If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill.

  • Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call 1 (800) 985-3059.
